93+ points View From the Cellar: “The 2014 Vaudésir from the Drouhin family is excellent, with the refined elegance of this vineyard very much in evidence on both the nose and palate. These days about fifteen percent of the cuvée is fermented and aged in stainless steel, with all the rest in older barrels. The superb bouquet offers up a blend of green apple, lemon, beeswax, dried flowers, chalky soil tones and a topnote of orange peel. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and light on its feet, with a superb core, bright acids and a long, focused and properly reserved finish, as befits a young grand cru Chablis in a top flight vintage. Lovely juice in the making.”

93 points Vinous: “Pale yellow-green. Wonderfully complex perfume of lime and orange zest and minerals. Then silky and voluptuous in the mouth, a distinct step up in texture and fat from the Mont de Milieu. But this very pure wine is nicely energized by brisk, harmonious acidity. Finishes lively and long. Very nicely ripe for the vintage but this has the balance for a graceful evolution in bottle.”
