95 points Burghound: “A wonderfully fresh if markedly restrained nose requires considerable swirling to coax the aromas of white peach, acacia blossom and subtle notes of citrus peel to reveal themselves. There is superb concentration to the overtly muscular and powerful full-bodied flavors that are supported by a firm core of ripe acidity and stunningly good length. This presently resembles a block of liquid stone and is going to require an extended stay in a cool cellar before it arrives at its full apogee, but it should be one of the great examples of Bâtard from the 2014 vintage when it does. Bravo!”
