94 points View From the Cellar: “The 2014 Drouhin Les Clos is outstanding, offering up a beautifully mineral and nascently complex bouquet of apple, tart orange, chalky, flinty minerality, white flowers, just a whisper of vanillin oak and a discreet, exotic topnote of green tea. On the palate the wine is deep, pure, full-bodied and nascently complex, with a rock solid core, brisk acids and fine focus and grip on the very long and youthful finish. Like the Vaudésir and all the other grand crus here these days, this is more than seventy-five percent barrel-fermented and raised in older casks, with only a small percentage produced in stainless steel.
