Chandon de Briailles Corton Bressandes 2015
24 bottles available
$165 per bottle

(92-95) points Burghound: “A markedly ripe yet elegant nose that consists of rose petal, plum liqueur, lilac, spice and wet stone aromas is trimmed in enough wood to notice. The very rich, intense and wonderfully vibrant big-bodied flavors evidence obvious minerality on the mouth coating and impressively long finish. This is a big and refined effort that is very much built-to-age so patience required.”

Chandon de Briailles Corton Clos du Roi 2015
24 bottles available
$195 per bottle

(92-94) points View From the Cellar: “There are only three casks of Clos du Roi this year at Chandon de Briailles, with one barrel new and the other two five to six years of age. This wine is not quite as out of sorts as the Bressandes, but again, there might still be more here than meets the eye. The bouquet is deep, ripe and nascently complex, wafting from the glass in a blend of black cherries, spice tones, vinesmoke, orange peel, game and a fine base of stony soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and plenty solid at the core, with ripe, nicely integrated tannins, sound acids and a very long, chewy and primary finish.”
